Bodhi Seed Prayer Beads is a great place to find Buddhist malas in lots of different styles. Some of the types of mala beads are lotus seed prayer beads (shown above), the ever-popular bodhi seed prayer beads, semi-precious gemstone prayer beads like amethyst and turquoise, and so many more. It is important to us to have a wide range of different types of prayer beads, because there are so many styles out there to choose from. I've also been working on the sections for the glossary section, the things we think people are interested in is the healing aspects of the different types of materials used for prayer beads. Another section we put in are some of the different mantras (Tibetan Buddhist) that you an say while using your prayer beads. I personally enjoy chanting Hindu mantras as well, and we may add those in later on. The most common Tibetan Buddhist mantra is "Om Mani Padme Hum." After years of studying the mantra, I think we have put together a good description of what this mantra means. The literal meaning is 'hail to the jewel in the lotus.' But it's actually a lot about changing yourself, growing within yourself, etc. For more info on the mantra, here is a link to the glossary page.
